Winter Conference General Guidelines

Conference participants are encouraged to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentation Winter Conferences. General oral sessions are often scheduled for mornings during the conference. One or two poster sessions will be scheduled throughout the week, depending on the amount of submissions received. Oral presentation opportunities are limited, so participants who request oral presentation, but cannot be accommodated, will be cordially invited to present at a poster session.

The deadline for submission of oral presentations has now passed. The deadline for submission of poster abstracts is end of December 2012.

When you register, you will be asked if you intend to submit an abstract for oral or poster presentation. You will also be able to upload your abstract in a suitable forrmat (PDF, Word, PPT or similar).

Presenters can also submit their abstract, by email attachment to  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it on or before the specified date. Please note that faxed abstract submissions cannot be accepted.

Both the poster and oral sessions are filled out closer to the start of the conference. Registrants can request slots but it is up to the respective chairman to accept or reject such requests. There are a limited numbers of oral slots.

Slide Submission

The organizing committee will incorporate your Lecture Slide Material into an electronic booklet that will be posted on our meeting website. This will be the official program booklet for the meeting. Only registrants will be able to access the Web Program Booklet, using a passcode obtained upon via an email sent to all registered participants.

Submission of your slide material is easy. Simply submit your slides in either Microsoft Powerpoint format or PDF format to: Claire Francis.

Your slides will appear in the Web Program Booklet exactly as you provide them.

Remember, Lecture Slides Submission deadlines will be specified.
